Tidak jauh dari kota Merauke, terdapat sebuah kampung bernama sangat bernuansa Jawa: Sidomulyo. Tidak jauh dari kampung, terdapat sebuah lahan persawahan, dengan pohon-pohon palem yang cukup besar. Jika sore hari dan cuaca cerah, pohon-pohon palem tersebut dapat menjadi foreground foto yang eksotis.
